NYC JIU JITSU TOURNAMENT

The RollMore SuperComp is a round robin tournament. As a competitor you will get more than 1 match even if you lose your first bout.

For example in a division of 4 competitors you will be fighting 3 times.

The competitor who has won more matches in a set division wins gold, the athlete with the 2nd best record will win Silver, and so on. Winner is decided based on the following criteria:

1) Number of Wins (as stated above)
2) Match Points
3) Direct Match result

In case of a tie if 2 competitors have won the same number of matches, the winner will be decided based on Match Points.

Match Points are calculated as follows:
Submission +5
Points/Advantage +3
Ref Decision +1
Opponent No Show/Injury +1
Gentlemen's Agreement +1

The competitor with the highest score will get the nod. This criteria will be used also to determine Bronze medal winners.

If competitors are still tied after calculating the Match Points, direct Match-Up Result will be the tie-breaker.

Divisions of 6 or more competitors will be split in two sides of the bracket, the winners of both sides of the bracket will face each other in the final to decide who wins gold.

Please note all Absolute/Open Weight divisions are single elimination.
